Justin Jindra, born and raised in Wisconsin, served our great nation as a United States Marines from 2005-2009. Before he found a love for CrossFit and lifting, Justin started out with marathons, wilderness challenges and Obstacle Course Races. He first started CrossFit in 2013 but didn’t devote himself to it until after the 2015 CrossFit Open. In 2015, he started working on weaknesses such as Olympic lifting and his hard work paid off as he qualified for the 2015 American Open in Reno, NV as a 69 kg lifter. Justin qualified for the 2016 South Regional by placing 10th in Individual Men for the South West Region. He is looking forward to the Regionals and will lay it all on the floor in the attempt to qualify for the 2016 CrossFit Games. Currently he sits at an average weight of 155 pounds at 30 years old but doesn’t let his size or age stop him to obtain his goals. After all, there are no weight classes in the jungle!
